DESCRIPTION:Our nature walk will tour Bear Mountain State Park when they open at 10am on Sunday\, 11/2. After a nature walk around Hessian Lake\, we will walk to the Bear Mountain Zoo to get a look at native animals. The park charges $10 for parking and requests $1 for zoo admission. Visit the Bear Mountain Park website for details about the merry-go-round (and maybe even the ice skating rink scheduled to open that day). After parking\, please proceed to the shore of the lake where we will meet (feel free to contact walterjahn@sunyorange.edu for contact info for that day to help find the group).
