Bashakill Birding and Boating

At 10 AM: Nature Walk from main boat launch
At 2:30 PM: Kayaking from main boat launch
A full day of outdoor fun at the Bashakill Wildlife Management Area. Start with a leisurely walk from the main boat launch to view migrating waterfowl, songbirds, and nesting bald eagles. Then meet back at the boat launch with kayaks at 2:30 pm to take to the water (rentals are available at the Mamakating Environmental Education Center). Please leave plenty of time to transport your kayaks and wear a life jacket.
