Independence Day Celebration to make 6 1/2 Station Sanctuary Independent of Invasive Species!

Feel free to join the ragtag Audubon militia at the sanctuary kiosk (not the Heritage Trail side; the Sanctuary side) which will begin by fighting the oppression of the water chestnut along the shore and in the muddy waters.
Please bring boots and gloves as we remove this aquatic invasive from the shoreline & water (one if by land; two if by sea). If any one desires to continue the fight by breaking the stems of 20 foot tall grasses or picking up trash from the observation platform area trail up to the road, that would also be welcome. Fight the foreign oppressors
